The solution for an early warning system in the chemical industry is designed as an integrated monitoring, warning, and notification system. As a first step, the system enables the direct monitoring—via sensors—of the occurrence of hazardous substances and their concentration levels.
The monitoring sensors integrate directly with other technological systems that control chemical production and connect to the Amadeo PA system.
For measuring hazardous concentrations, at least two potentially dangerous concentration levels are defined. If the measured values fall within an increasing concentration range, the system—in a second step—alerts operators or, in unmanned operations, informs the responsible team members. These individuals can verify the causes of the rise in concentrations and take appropriate safety measures before declaring an emergency. When the measured values exceed the threshold set for emergency concentrations, the broadcast of a warning message is triggered.
